FreeZone Cappadocia Jeep Safari Tour

During your visit to Cappadocia, the FreeZone JEEP SAFARI TOUR is a “must-do” adventure where you will be transported to many wonderful locations surrounding Göreme in the comfort of one of our 4-wheel drive, off-road vehicles.

After your hotel pick-up our 1st stop is at the top of Pigeon Valley. Here you will see some of the finest examples of protected pigeon nests in the area and it is also from here you will get an amazing view of Uçhisar Castle (This is your 1st of many fabulous “selfie” moments)

Once you have enjoyed these great views (and great photo opportunities) it’s back in the off-roaders for the short drive to Ibrahimpasha to see a village which has been completely untouched by tourism. Here the locals still live a very uncomplicated and simple life (as they have for generations before them). If you are lucky you may even get to see them carry out some of their daily chores, such as the production of Pekmez (a molasses-like syrup obtained after condensing the juice of grapes) or cracking their pumpkin seeds in preparation for baking in the oven, which turns them into a daily snack the locals of Ibrahimpasha really enjoy eating. (you should try either or both the Pekmez & the baked pumpkin seeds -  they’re both delicious)

Next we travel to the village of Ortahisar where you will view Ortahisar Castle from another fabulous panoramic viewpoint and then carry on your adventure on the off-road route through the valleys of Pancarlik & Uzengi to view some amazing examples of the fairy chimneys and rock formations which Cappadocia is famous for.

Following a break for a light picnic, our next destination for you to enjoy is Mustafapaşa, (pronounced Moos-tah-fah-pah-shah) a village approximately 15km from Göreme which had a largely Greek population during the Ottoman times until the 1923/24 population exchange between Greece and Turkey. Today the town is still very traditional in its ways and boasts some wonderful Ottoman-style architecture.

After Mustafapaşa we travel through Ürgüp to your final stop in Baglidere Vadisi, or Love Valley as it’s commonly known. Here you will see the incredibly unique fairy chimneys which this valley is particularly famous for.

It’s then back to your hotel with a your head full of incredible memories and your camera or smart phone packed with great photographs of the tour.
