Economic Sunrise Balloon Flight – Approximately 60 minute flight time with basket sizes of 24 - 32 passengers.
As it suggests, the “sunrise” balloon flight starts early in the morning where you will be collected directly from your local hotel by the balloon company representative. You will then be transported to the balloon company office for a soft drink or tea/coffee and a light snack whilst you register for your flight.
When this is completed you will be transported to the balloon take-off point where you will enjoy the preperation of your balloon by your ground crew (this takes approximately 30 minutes and you may even be invited to assist with this) Once the balloon (or “envelope” as it’s known) is inflated and ready to fly, you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing from your highly experienced and fully-qualified pilot before you receive his permission to board your basket for this incredible adventure.
Due to the almost daily directional change of the wind, no two flights are the same, so your flight will be very personal to you (and obviously also to thos eother passengers lucky enough to be in the basket with you during your flight) On some summer mornings it’s been known for balloon passengers to reach out from their basket and pick fresh fruit from the tops of the trees as they pass over them.
With a flight time of approximately 1 hour, you will silently glide over the landscape below you at differing altitudes as your pilot uses all of his wealth of experience to “guide” your balloon through and over the landscape, allowing you to marvel at the incredible topography below you. Now will be the perfect time to begin to capture those “never to be repeated” photographs and video recordings as the land awakens and changes in colour from “night-time grey” to several shades of pinks, reds and hues of gold as the sun splits the horizon, pouring its revitalising energy and light over the valleys below you.
